The epidemic brings good news to North American tire marketing and franchising

In the entire process dominated by the coronavirus epidemic in the past year or so, the American tire marketing and franchising groups have continued to expand in terms of members and services.

American Tire Distributors’ Tyre Pros marketing team added more than 60 points of sale to its U.S. network in 2020, and entered the racing field this year, sponsoring JR Motorsports to participate in the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity series of 6 races.

In the four races so far this year, Tire Pros has been the main sponsor of JR Motorsports’ No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro, which is owned by NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr..

Tire Pros President Greg Bell called the collaboration with JR Motorsports "an incredible opportunity to reach new customers and increase the Tire Pros brand's national influence."

Tyre Pros' growth in 2020 is distributed in 24 states, including 10 new points of sale in California, 6 points of sale in Ohio, and 5 points of sale each in Georgia and Utah. The Tyre Pros network is currently upgraded to 613 locations in 45 states.

Greg Bell, President of Tire Pros, stated that "the dynamic changes in travel patterns and the new pressures in the trucking industry" help create opportunities for Tyre Pros franchisees to thrive and expand the Tyre Pros network.

Express Oil Change/Tire Engineers, a Mavis tire supply company, expanded its network to 300 brand stores this year.

OK Tyre has more than 325 franchise stores in Canada.

OK Tyre Stores Inc. has acquired the 10-year exclusive rights to the Blackhawk tire brand in Canada, which is owned and produced by China Sailun Tire Group. Echoing the common Blackhawk Raptor logo, Blackhawk tires are "ready to take off and respond to any impact that Canadian drivers and weather may have on us."

OK Tyres said that Blackhawk's "multi-function" series provides Canadian riders with options, from high-performance tires for sports coupes and cars to ideal tires for everyday drivers. The brand also includes a series of commercial truck tires for long-distance, regional or mixed service applications.

Go Mobile Tyres USA has begun franchising its mobile tire installation business to supplement its business started in 2019, and has expanded to 15 service points in a dozen subway markets during this period.

Go Mobile opened a 20,000 square foot venue in Jacksonville in 2020 to enter the Florida market. It also complements the three existing service locations in Southern California, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Missouri, Las Vegas, Portland, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Greenville, South Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee, Facilities in Austin and Dallas, Texas, Washington, and Vancouver, Canada. The new facility is designed to support the deployment of up to 50 mobile tire service vehicles.

The Tire Alliance Group (TAG) reports that it is developing a retail e-commerce website, which is expected to be operational in the second half of this year as an additional tool for its members.
